Fierce Mystic

I'm so excited to share this shoot with you!

As an entrepreneur, you are the face of your business.

Do you have some hang ups on paying for a professional photoshoot for your website?
When you find the right photographer, that can truly capture the essence of who you are, and what you are about...
it can seriously help out your social media marketing, and let potential clients know that you are truly serious about what you are offering.

I'm lucky enough to be able to work with some of the most incredible women offering all sorts of amazing things!!!
Some of them to date have been:
Yoga teachers, Sexual Empowerment Leaders, Business Coaches, Poets, Permaculture Queens, Meditation Instructors, Women's Group Holders, Designers, Therapists, Painters, Graphic Artists, Witches, Singers, Escorts, Doulas, Relationship Coaches, Dancers... and more!

They value my creative approach and trust that I will try my absolute best to capture the realness.
The person who wants to shine so brightly, and share their gift with the world.
No one wants an ugly, dry photo of themselves as their calling card!

Courtney Halsted approached me for a branding shoot for her business.
A woman after my own heart, she has been the creator of many successful ventures around liberation, connection, sexuality and authenticity.
Now she has set to the task of growing her labor of love "Fierce Mystic", which focuses on helping "those who want to connect to their deep juicy sexuality, Orgasmic pleasure, stand in their power and use their sex for both their greatest spiritual awakening, and the awakening of their intimate partners."

This is where I came to in help bring her epic vision into a visual reality!

Courtney and I have been in the same community in Melbourne for a while now, but had never had the opportunity to get to know one another properly.
From the get go we were like two peas in a pod, chatting away about a whole range of topics that we met eye to eye on, while we traversed across Melbourne to two locations we had decided would suit her vision to a tee.

It was one of those times where you know you've spontaneously made a true new friend.
These times are my favorite!
When work merges into social connection, into heart felt bonding.

I honestly feel that our ability to be really relaxed around each other, equaled an amazing outcome of our shoot together.

Here is a link to her facebook page for now, as her website is still in the works but will be released soon!

And you can see some of the photos from the shoot below.

I am so grateful for the work I do, and hope to expand my offerings in photography and beyond too, as I move forward in my life.

but for now,

In Joy xx

Weekend Getaway

Yes it's true that most of my photography is based around concept shooting, feminine empowerment and portraiture, but I'm just seriously all about capturing moments.

So when I was approached by Fern to shoot some personal photos of her, as well as some of her family, I was so excited as couple/family photos are something I have been interested in!

Fern invited me down to a special little Victorian coastal hideaway for the weekend with her partner Alex and their gorgeous little girl Phoenix.
It was a great opportunity to spend some quality time together and make sure we had enough opportunity to shoot, as the weather was changing dramatically from stormy to bright sun around that week.

I honestly feel like I am blessed by nature every time I go out on a shoot, as the weather could be super erratic either side of any given location shoot day, but when I head out it almost 100% becomes the most pristine and perfect conditions to shoot in!
(so this is me giving my absolute gratitude to the forces that be, thankyou thankyou thankyou for blessing me!!!!!).

So on the day of our shoot, we were met with the most magical velvet breeze, sun popping in and out from behind fluffy white clouds, and an absolutely breathtaking cotton candy sunset.
Fern was so happy with how the photos turned out, and I was too.
Here are some shots from our time together (there were some beautiful nude photos of Fern too, but those are going to stay a secret).

I'd love to do more lifestyle photography, so If you are thinking of capturing the essence of you and your love, your little family, or are interested in a one on one session with me and based in Melbourne, Byron Bay areas, please don't hesitate to get in contact.

In Joy,

Aleira xx
