KIN - A FASHION FILM FOR HARA THE LABEL

I am an advocate for women fully inhabiting their bodies and feeling empowered to make choices that allow them more access to their inner freedom.

The fashion industry for the longest time has dictated what is considered acceptable or not, desirable or not and a guide of status and beauty. Unfortunately the industry has been slow off the mark in terms of celebrating body diversity, as we are really just coming to see it over recent years in mainstream culture.

So when I came across hara the label, an inclusive organic underwear brand founded by allie Cameron that celebrates women in all ways, I immediately knew that was the kind of brand I could get behind.

I have been desiring to delve deeper into film creation for quite some time now, it felt like a natural evolution from my photographic work. I had a vision that I wanted to bring to life and felt like Hara The Label would be the perfect fit, so I reached out, shared my vision and allie was 100% onboard.

This film is the second experiment in a full film creation, my first being a music video clip for a dear friend of mine. all the planning, resourcing, scouting and execution flowed so well and Iā€™m really proud of what we came away with.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it.
